TOP RANGE

EOS Typhoon TS

Typhoon TS represents the top of the EOS Racing Kart lineup – in Direct Drive, Shifter and DD2 configurations. The chassis, entirely manufactured from 30-mm-diameter tubing, remains the cornerstone of a design that, in its latest development, introduces further technical refinements, result of the relentless work of OTK’s R&D department. Unchanged, however, are the high-quality standards that distinguish the whole “100% Made in OTK” production line.

Excellence by OTK

UNCOMPROMISING QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE

At the heart of Typhoon TS lies the “Designed, Engineered, Manufactured 100% Made in OTK – Italy” philosophy which reflects the high-quality standards that characterize the design and production of the OTK Kart Group. Building on this foundation, the evolution of EOS Racing Kart’s flagship model continues, with significant upgrades to its components for the 2027 Model Year. The Direct Drive configuration features the new HFT stub axles, while the Shifter version will have the HFZ stub axles; these are complemented by the new 180 mm floating brake disc and, for the shifter version, a brand-new chain tensioner. These updates refine an already well-established technical foundation.

HFT and HFZ Stub Axles

MORE FEELING, GREATER ADAPTABILITY

Among the main new features introduced on the Typhoon TS are the HFT and HFZ stub axles, designed for the Direct Drive and Shifter configurations, respectively. Both have been fine-tuned to give the driver a more immediate feel for the front end and make it easier to interpret the kart’s reactions. This results in easier handling and a chassis that is better able to adapt to the various conditions that may be encountered on the track.

BWD Braking System

DESIGNED FOR DIRECT-DRIVE CLASSES

The BWD braking system is designed specifically for the Direct Drive classes, both Junior and Senior. The OTK Kart Group’s R&D department has focused its efforts on using the highest-quality materials, with the aim of ensuring maximum component efficiency. The concept behind the project led to the development of a system capable of significantly improving heat dissipation, reducing brake fluid temperature, and ensuring consistent, highly efficient braking under all conditions. For the 2027 Model Year, the system has been updated with a 180-mm-diameter floating disc, designed to further increase braking efficiency, maintain more consistent performance over time, and, at the same time, reduce pad wearing.

BWZ Braking System

HARD BRAKINGS AT THE TOP IN THE SHIFTER

The solutions introduced with the BWD model, designed for single-speed classes, are also applied in the BWZ braking system, which was specifically designed for “multi-speed” categories. Here as well, the solutions adopted ensure excellent heat dissipation, both at the pump and in the calipers, resulting in lower brake fluid temperature and consistent system performance. In addition to these improvements, the system features a more efficient brake force distributor and completely redesigned front calipers—both in their forged and machined components—which feature revised fins and spacers to increase heat dissipation capacity while also improving structural rigidity. As well as for the BWD, the BWZ is also available with a new 180-mm floating disc.

M11 Fairing Kit

MODERN DESIGN AND ADVANCED AERODYNAMICS

The aim of constantly improving the aerodynamic efficiency of its products has driven the OTK Kart Group’s R&D department to develop the M11 fairing kit, which complies with current FIA regulations. Thanks to CFD simulations and wind tunnel testing, as well as track testing performed by OTK’s racing division, the team was able to create a front number plate spoiler and a front bumper with an innovative design, both of which significantly reduce aerodynamic drag, resulting in improved track performance. Rounding out the M11 kit are the M10 side bumpers and the new rear protection, equipped with the FIA anti-launch device. Additionally, the kit includes a full-coverage floor panel that further optimizes performance by reducing turbulence.

Pedals and steering wheel

A SEAT FOR “PRO” DRIVERS

The various upgrades applied to the Typhoon TS are combined with several established features. Among these, main are the adjustable pedals and the inclined steering wheel hub from the OTK Kart Parts line, which allow for optimal adjustment of the driving position, making it ideal for every driver. Other key elements also remain unchanged, such as the HGS steering wheel equipped with a high-grip rubber grip, which significantly reduces driver fatigue during all driving phases. This set of solutions—developed in cooperation with the OTK Kart Group’s racing division—therefore makes it easy to achieve an optimal driving position for kart drivers of any size.

DD2 Version

TARGETED DEVELOPMENT

Typhoon TS, in the version designed for the DD2 class, has been updated with the introduction of HFZ stub axles and a 180-mm floating disc paired with the BWZ braking system, as well as a new stickers kit design. One distinctive feature, however, remains the mounting system for the exhaust support, which is easily removable and specifically designed for engines in this class.
